Dr. Davies is board certified in pain management and is one of the few fellowship-trained pain specialists in the country. Dr. Davies was a post-doctoral fellow in pain management at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Manchester, England and has done residencies at the University of Pittsburgh, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Davies was recently selected as “one of America’s top physicians” by the Consumer Research Council of America and is listed in “America’s Top Physicians.”
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Davies is the Director of Pain Management at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He specializes in advanced techniques designed to treat all types of chronic and cancer pain specializing in the latest high tech approaches to pain.
Dr. Davies embraces complementary therapies such as acupuncture, massage, photonic therapy and Reiki. These modalities help many patients with chronic pain without the adverse side effects of medication.
Dr. Davies continues his academic interests through research, teaching and lecturing at national conferences. He has also published many articles on pain management issues.
In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, particularly boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
